As a resident of Israel living in the south and
constantly being bombarded by missiles fired at my family, I have to tell you
that every loss of life hurts. Seeing dead children in Gaza tears my heart. I am not angry with
Palestinians in Gaza,
they are not to blame. I hate the Hamas, not because of firing mortars at me
and making my life impossible, but for making us shoot at them while they shoot
at us from populated areas, hurting civilians, that are, just like us, want to
live in peace!!!

most of the content on LS is available from the broadcasters themselves on their own websites or on other aggregators.. LS simply collects a few publically available streams together in one interface that doesnt work half the time i try to use it, even from their website. i dont mean to be rude to mr connor but it is what it is. today i tried again to listen to RFI. new problems. it wouldnt load the flash plyer at all. i clicked the pop-out player link, which didnt pop out and brought me to a page with an RFI player which DID play RFI.. BUT IN CHINESE. with NO option to switch languages. so i went to the homepage and other pages and clicked the "about livestation" button and nothing happens. its broken, on IE8 at least. consistently poor engineering, poor interface, poor testing and therefore poor management all around

Good point James. Whoever controls the gateway to the internet controls it outright. Like putting a toll on a bridge built by someone else.

Are Facebook and Mark Zuckerberg smart enough and creative enough to get people to see it as the main focal point of the web? Would you consider investing in the stock?

People that doubt the future of Facebook are people that are still looking at Facebook as a 'website'. The people that get it see it for what it is: A 'Platform' and it's own ecosystem. In a few years most of the internet will be flowing through facebook … Content is King, Facebook provide none, but display all. It's not just average people providing content, but multi million dollar companies providing content like games for their users at no cost to Facebook themselves, in fact they make money from it… Through multiple channels! It's true, nobody knows what the next big thing will be, but if Google can't dent their business I'd be sure to think nobody else will for a long while yet. When Google came along with '+' Facebook changed to accommodate anything that '+' had to offer that they didn't, and Facebook still kept their users. When people wanted better Photo Apps, Facebook bought Instagram. People want to chat, now there is a Skype app for Facebook! High Profits, low overheads and some of the smartest people in business today at the helm of the company. Between Apple, Google and Microsorft Facebook is a much shrewder business modal and far more streamline, and thats what you want in an investment.

I'm really impressed and shocked for what Donoghue said. I saw a debate on CNN and he really compared gay marriage with incest. It's crazy. I also watched another debate in which I don't remember who was saying "I can teach my children to not be gay, but also to respect gay people as human beings". Omg, it seems the middle age.
